General Guidelines

1. Students from Classes 9thto 12thcan participate in these events.

2. The participants are required to carry a valid Photo Id card of

their respective School. Without Photo Id-Card the participants

will not be allowed to participate in any of the events.3. There is No REGISTRATION FEE, but the participants are

required to send their registration forms at SCMS-Noida, Block

A, Sector 62, Plot No. 47 48, Noida 201301

Or

Send the Scanned copy of confirmation through mail on

[email protected]

4.

The Last Date for registration is 11thOctober, 2014.

The

participants can also register for the event on the spot from09:00 AM 10:00 AM.

5. Usage of mobile phone while participating in any of the events

is strictly prohibited.

6. Two faculty members can come with the participants.

7. SYMPHENIA organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel

any registration/event at any point of time during the event if

the requisites are not provided.

8.

The decision of the SYMPHENIA organizing Committee will befinal and binding on all participants.

9.

Any behavior denigrating or being disrespectful in any manner

is strictly prohibited.

10.SCMS, NOIDA makes no commitment, except as our specifically

Rules & Regulations

RANGOLI

(Cash Prize -2500)

No. of students per team - 2 Time limit 45 minutes to prepare

rangoli.

Use of paints will not be allowed.

Teams will be provided a defined

space to make rangoli (approx 3X3

square feet).

Participants have to bring their own

material required to make rangoli

QUIZ COMPETITION

(Cash Prize -2500)

No. of students per team - 2 Competition will have 3 rounds:

Prelims, Knock off and Finals

Participants will not be allowed to

use any kind of electronic gadgets

during the course of competition.

In case of a tie at any point in the

competition, a tie breaker will be

conducted

FOOD CORNER

(Cash Prize -2500)

No. of students per team - 2

Time limit 2 hours for entirecompetition.

Competitions would have 2 rounds.

The format of the competition would

be declared on the spot.

Only main ingredients will be

provided by us. Participants will have

to bring their own utensils, cutlery,

crockery, etc.

Use of other ingredients will lead to

disqualification. However,

participants may add other side

ingredients such as cheese, coriander,

etc to enhance presentation of food.

PHOTOGRAPHY

(Cash Prize -3000)

5 pictures will be accepted from eachparticipant.

Participants are required to capture

different emotions, Expressions,

Moments of fest.

Participants are required to bring

their own cameras.

Decision of the judges will be final

and binding all concerns.

No editing is allowed in photographs

i.e. use of Photoshop, light room or

any other software is prohibited

except cropping.
