Once upon a time there was a girl whose name was Swati. She was very naughty and never used to listen to her elders. She was very stubborn and used to do whatever she liked. Her parents tried number of times to make her understand to behave nicely with everyone, but she didn’t bother. One day her parents went out of station and left her with her uncle and aunt. At her uncle and aunt’s place she could not do whatever she wanted to. She felt very lonely and only then she realized the importance of family in her life.

Once upon a time there were two friends – Sahil and Aman. They used to live and play together. Sahil and Aman both were good in studies. Once there was a race competition in the school. Sahil stood first in first round and Aman stood second. Aman was very upset as he knew that Sahil was a fast runner and he would not be able to win the race and get the prize of Rs 5,000/- by which he could get himself a bicycle as he belonged to a poor family. On seeing the face of Aman, Sahil slowed down his speed in the final round and Aman won the race. That’s the true friendship as Sahil sacrificed his position to make his friend happy.

Once there was a boy named Akhil. He always ate junk food. One day, he got severe stomach-ache. His mother took him to the doctor’s clinic. Doctor told him that he got stomach infection which happened because of eating junk food all the time. Then Akil realized his mistake and promised to eat healthy food in the future.

Once there was a boy named Varun who loved the pets very much. He had a pet dog named Jimmy. He used to play with Jimmy every day. One day his parents went out of station due to some urgent work. Only Varun and his pet dog were there. Some thieves came inside the home, when Varun was taking a nap his pet dog Jimmy bit the thieves and Varun woke up and called the Police and the thieves were arrested red-handed. For this act Varun received the bravery award on 26th January. Varun told the public about his pet dog Jimmy who contributed equally for that act. His whole family started taking care of Jimmy very much after this incident.

Once upon a time, there was a monkey named Golu, who was very naughty. He had many friends Pinku parrot, Chinky sparrow, Bholu bear etc. who used to tell him that one should not to be so naughty. One day Golu monkey got three bananas to eat. He ate all the bananas but threw the peels here and there. Suddenly, Golu’s mother came and slipped over the banana peel and got injured. Golu felt sorry for his act and remembered his friends who used to tell him to change his lifestyle. After that incident he promised everybody that he will change himself and his lifestyle.

Once upon a time there was a girl named Swati, she went to a village with her family to visit her granny’s place. She found that the air was very fresh, no pollution was there and everything was so good. She asked her granny about the reason that why in cities the environment is so polluted. The granny replied that it is due to the waste coming out of the factories. For this, we should plant saplings and also see to it that it should grow properly. We should promise ourselves not to pollute the environment with garbage and crackers. We must do all the efforts to clean the environment to remain healthy.

Once there was a rabbit and a tortoise named Bunny and Tony. Tony used to save food for the next season but Bunny never cared for it and used to laugh at Tony. After summer, rainy season arrived and it was raining heavily. Bunny and Tony were not able to go out in search of food. Tony had lots of stored food at his home and he enjoyed the food and the rainy season but as Bunny had not saved anything, he remained without food and realized we should always plan for the future.
Note: Story dramatization and Puppet show will be organized for individual stories.
