Sri G. Prasad Reddy, Resident of Vinjamur (V) & Mandal president of Bharatiya Janata Party, Vinjamur Mandal, SPS Nellore District.
While expressing his opinion on the proposed project has informed that it was the past history of non performance by industries to control pollution. Now, the proposed industry proposed to install required pollution control system, he hoped that there would not arise pollution problems from this industry and he wished that the proposed project would be established in his area in the event of state bifurcation as many Bulk Drug units are gone under Telangana, it is necessary to welcome for establishment of as many industries as possible in Nellore District, which will contribute for local area development. He expressed his whole hearted support for establishment of proposed project.
The industry proposed “Zero Liquid Discharge” and wastewater will not be discharged. All the effluents are treated in Effluent treatment system containing Stripper, MEE, ATFD, biological treatment system followed by Reverse Osmosis system. The treated effluent will be reused in cooling towers. Multi-cone Cyclone Separators are proposed to control emissions from Boilers and two stage scrubbers to treatment the emissions generated from process. The Industry assured that they shall follow the standards prescribed by Ministry of environment and forests with respect to emissions and effluents, thereby ensuring sustainable development of the area.
Sri B. Rama Chandra Reddy, Resident of Vinjamur (V) SPS Nellore District.
He informed to the public that the Vinjamur area being located in up lands deprived of water resources and poverty stricken backward region, which require establishment of many industrial establishments to contribute area development. He noted that due to establishment of one industry. Which is now operating, has given employment opportunities to the locals. Hence, he hoped that the proposed project management would give as many employment opportunities as possible to the locals and wished that

many industrial project, as such would be established in this area to contribute socio – economic development of the public. He appreciated the efforts of the proposed project management for their decision to establish the Bulk drug unit in Vinjamur area.
Sri G. Narsappa Naidu, Resident of Gundemadakala Village, SPS Nellore District.
He appreciated the project management to establish the factory in Vinjamur area, as it would provide ample employment to the educated locals, unemployed youth. He expressed his positive opinion stating that the proposed industry would do well in implementing required pollution control systems. He opined that the proposed project would contribute for overall development of this area. He noted that already one industry in the name of M/s Neutra Specialties Pvt. Ltd was established and operating in Vinjamur area claiming that they would extract oil from Tobacco leaves, which has not been done so far and requested the project Authorities to explore the possibilities for the same as many farmers in this area are tobacco growers. He expressed his support for the proposed project.

The management assured that separate budget will be allocated for CSR activities and they will participate in local developmental activities in consultation with public representatives and district administration.

He demanded that the proposed project management should implement all pollution control measures as per the norms stipulated by the APPCB and to offer employment to the local youth. He wished that the proposal should be established.

While he was speaking on the proposed industry and noted that one industry when established, there were public agitations against the pollution problems. Thought, the industry rectified the operational problems and controlled pollution, it is the industry’s responsibility to see that pollution control measures are to be taken effectively and not to be repeat as such. He also made the public to note that about 200 persons of the surrounding villages have been employed in that factory. Nearby village Venkatadripalem was once poverty stricken and sustenance tough, is now faring well being economically boosted up by the nearby Barytes Mining and other industry projects established in this area. In this line, he expressed that the proposed project would be a boon for this area development. He requested the project management to provide for unskilled labour totally to locals only. He emphasized his support for establishment of the proposed project.

proposed industry would take all measures for pollution control management of solid wastes such as Boiler ash, Process sludge to be disposed in scientific manner in Brick manufacturing units and in cement plants, as stated in the report. He also wished that this type of industries may come up in this area and Agro based industries should also be established nearby Agriculture lands to develop the surroundings areas.

Process residue, stripper distillate, solvent residue, and activated carbon are sent cement plants for co-incineration. Coal ash is sold to brick manufacturers in the local area.

He expressed his total support for the establishment of proposed Bulk Drugs & Intermediate chemical manufacturing unit in this area, as there is no village habitation likely to be affected within 3Km radius from the proposed site.
The nearest habitation from the proposed site is located at a distance of about 2.4 Km.

He hailed the establishment of the proposed Bulk Drug chemical project, as it offers employment to educated youth with best monitory benefits on par with that of salaries paid in metropolitan cities such as Bangalore.
