Świętokrzyskie Mountains
• It’s the oldest mountains in Europe. The two highest peaks are Łysica, 612 meters and Łysa Góra, 593 meters.

• Protected areas in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship include of the one National Parks and nine Landscape Parks:
• Świętokrzyski National Park is a National Park in Świętokrzyskie voivodeship in central Poland. It covers the highest ridge of the Świętokrzyskie (Holy Cross) Mountains.
Capital and largest city in Świętokrzyskie
• The Capital and the largest city in Świętokrzyskie is Kielce. The city is located in the middle of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. In this city lives 200 983 people. Copper and red sandstone formerly were taken from the area, now the site of the Świętokrzyski National Park, established in 1950. In Kielce we have also 2 universities:
