GST

The GST has not been included in our prices in order to illustrate your actual costs per cake and per unit sold.

Mark up

Our products are all based on a 100% mark up per unit. This is a guide only and is dependent on your clientele. However it is accepted practice that 100% to 150% is easily achieved. Nut Content

Please be advised that due to warnings on some ingredients used, that there may be traces of nuts, soy or wheat product in all of our products. We follow a NO PEANUTS on premises policy, but again cannot guarantee peanut free product. Storage Recommendations

It is recommended that all cakes be stored at 3 to 5ºc. Most products will present better if brought to room temperature prior to serving. Any syrup lines and most chocolate lines are delicious if heated. Our muffins are great if micro waved for 10 to 30 seconds and served with butter. They can be held at room temperature.

All biscuits should be kept at 15—20ºc and out of direct heat or sunlight.

Portioning Cakes

It is recommended that cakes be cut with a serrated knife warmed in hot water and dried before use. (a jug of hot water will do the trick!)

Generally, larger serves will result in less cake sales per table, not more, so we recommend smaller serves where possible. Otherwise, you could market extra large cake slices as a ‘couples size’ and provide two forks per plate ! ! Accepted portioning size produces 16 serves per 9” cake or 24 serves per 12”.

Cut off times & Minimum Orders

Cut off time for next day delivery is 3.00pm. An answering machine service is available on weekends to record orders for Tuesday deliveries. We are closed on all public holidays. Minimum order for free delivery is $60.00.

Sweet by Nature can work with you to help market and sign your cake display or shop counter. We can help you to source platters, baskets or any display item you require or just give some advice.

• We have point of sale cards for cakes, biscuits, slices etc.• We can also provide card stands in two heights to finish off your display.• We can provide jars to display our cookies and biscuits. A refundable deposit is required.
