Music NotesFBC Trap Shoot and Feed
Toward the end of summer, we changed what our Sunday nights would look like at First Bap-tist. This has freed up some time and given us some opportunities to experiment and pursue other things that will build up and strengthen our church. We are going to encourage our SS classes periodically to have fellowships and even serve in the community (and use Sun-day nights as a time to do this). But we are also going to try to have some community-wide outreach events. This is exactly what this Trap Shoot and Feed is.This coming Sunday night, September 24, First Baptist is going to have their first trap shoot and feed event. This event will take place at Alan Wisdom’s house at 1821 N FM 2646. As the name suggests, we will have trap shooting, but we are also going to have archery (as well as washers and horseshoes). And yes—we will have food. This is a time where we as a church family can come, relax, fellowship, and have fun. But it is also a time where we can invite our friends and neighbors to as well. We need to invite people to join us Sunday night at this trap shoot and feed.FBC trap shoot and feed will begin at 4 (although you can show up anytime after that as well) and will cost $10. The money will go to help pur-chase the food, clay pigeons and other misc. items. Of course you will need to bring your own guns and ammo for the event. I hope to see you this Sunday night. It will be a lot of fun.Join us Sunday morning as I continue the En-gage Your World sermon series.
Sammy
