OCS Journey to CERT

• 2014 OCS was tasked to set up a

CERT (Rapid Response Team)

response in NUS

• Choose between In-housed

CERT, Contractors, Hybrid

• June 2015, OCS operationalize

OCS RRT Set Up

• 4 teams of 2 officers per shift / based

on 8 hour shift

• Stationed at Security Posts and zones

with higher risk laboratories

• Officers are required to undergo

stringent medical screening

• 3 days CERT training, 1 week

• Class 2B, Fire fighting experience,

PLRD License
