The DC Mains are designed for use with standard cross tees, moldings, and accessories and are installed by acoustical contractors as part of the acoustical ceiling suspension system. Electrical connections are made to the grid after acoustical installation and are done by qualified electricians. DC FlexZone™ Suspension Systems

Do Not Cut the DC FlexZone Main Beams

Use Non-Powered Border Mains at Perimeters – Item Numbers 750106 and 760106 can be field cut;

use both ends of 6' Border Main to minimize scrap

Pay attention to and follow the RCP for location and specific length of mains to install – DC Mains come in 4 different lengths: 6', 8', 10', 12'

– Several different lengths of main beams will likely beused on a job

– Place cartons at job site in areas according to lengths;cartons are white and marked for length

Do Not Use Power Key Slots for Hanger Wire

Do Not Re-Use Existing Hanger Wire

Do Not Screw through the Bulb of either Profile – Use BACG90A clips for attachments to the web of

the DC main for seismic applications and bracing

Do Not Use Metal Screws in the DC Silhouette® 1/4" Reveal – Use Partition Clips (UPC) screwed to the

web of the grid for any attachments tothe underside of the grid

Use 2" Insulator Caps if needed to cover conductors with some grid accessories (item # DCINS).
