This question was to see who my video would get the best response from.

I tried to get an even diverse split between gender

By using defined age brackets I wanted to see what music appeals to the ages. This showed me the majority of people with the spare time to respond to my survey in depth were younger.

This information tells me that this is the age I should be appealing towards. Due to the amount of time free to advertise towards in.

This question was to find out if I had chosen the right type of song, to appeal to a wide audience.

From looking over the results at the side. you can see acoustic is one of the top two genres at 41.6%.

This proves the success of my chose in song genre due to it’s large appeal.

When Creating this I created a box for ‘other’ responses of genre.

This provided helpful as I left out the second main category I needed an found the responses that followed showing Folk and indie to be popular genres

How do you access music?

This idea behind this question was to find out if it’s a better idea to appeal and sell the video/song online or via shop advertisement.

from this I found my results drawn between downloads and CD’s this led me to look over my other categories which showed the use of other internet based forms of download or streaming. CD Download Illegal

What do you expect to see in a music video?

By asking this I wanted to see what my audience expected to see in a music video an if I could match this with my music video to tailor the video to my audience.

This told me location was the most important part/ most noticeable part of the music video.

How often do you watch music videos ?

By asking this I wanted to find out if my audience watched music videos, an how often. This was to find out if they would watch my video. Also if they would understand the contraventions of a music video giving a point to my data.

Depending on the amount spend on music depends of the budget of my music video. There is no point creating a music video if my target audience won’t buy the song after seeing it. Noth-

If yes in what way?

This is to get a sense for the style which go’s along side the music genres.

Favorite label tees, I wear baggy/ hippy clothes, I wear lots of shirts of my favourite bands, I like Hippy shizz!,On moods, emotions, that sort of stuff!

The music I listen to is the type of music I like to perform and is, therefore, my style. I like to portray myself the way I see my style. I dress like a foxy jazz lady. Sometimes. For example I'll tease my hair if I've been listening to rock and I'll leave it natural if I've been listening to country or acoustic etc.
