Ipsos Reid and Public Inc. did a survey in 2013 to see what people think of being asked for charitable donations at the checkout. Here's what they found out.

 These are the fndings o an Ipsos Reid poll conducted in partnership with PUBLIC Inc.

3ore Canadians have reused a re4uest 56789 or donation at a cash register than have accepted the re4uest and donated 51#89. o!en 51789 are !ore li:el than !en 57689 to have been as:ed and donated. 3en 56189 are slightl !ore li:el than wo!en 56$89 to have been as:ed and reused. Reusal rates are also higher a!ong older 56689 and !iddle aged 56189 people than ounger 51289. Reusal rates are highest in ;lberta 5<"89 and the Prairies 5<&89 and lowest in ,uebec 57289.
