Support of Regional Development in Moldova

An Opportunity to Stimulate the Development of Civil Society

Goal of the project

Support an acceleration of societal and economic transformation of the Republic of Moldova through transfer of Czech know-how with planning, preparing and promoting regional development projects by non-governmental players, using the experience gained in the Czech Republic during the last 20 years

Develop capacities of Moldovan NGOs by equipping them with skills for developing and presenting regional development projects, hereby supporting the development of non-governmental sector and civil society in Moldova

1. Workshop on Czech experience with regional development and preparation of regional development projects

4. Seminars in 3 regions of Moldova on regional development, presentation of regional development projects / project ideas

Results of the project

At the end of the project, Moldovan participants should:•Know what kinds of regional development project have been implemented in the Czech Republic•Have the skills in identification of project ideas and development of projects•Have the skills in presentation of projects and argumentation with both potential supporters and potential adversaries•Have projects developed for public presentation•Have established contacts with potential partners
