Isles of Scilly: Starting in the far west is an archipelago of over 100 islands lying 28 miles of the

mainland. Only 5 of these islands are inhabited with St Mary’s being the largest. Due to a sub-tropical

climate the islands are famed for spectacular scenery and beautiful wildlife above and below the water,

including a large colony of puffins.

Mounts Bay: This is the first anchorage on the mainland with the ports of Penzance and Newlyn to visit,

the most striking feature is St Michaels Mount. The area boasts quaint fishing harbours and sheltered

coves alongside the dramatic coastline of Lands End.

All the Ports mentioned have capability for mooring

large yachts . It is recommended to contact the

relevant Port Authority in advance as some of the

smaller harbours require pilots and with the river

inlets capacity is limited.

In the South West you will find beautiful and

exclusive deep water mooring sites, right on the

edge of historic towns or in some cases tucked up

remote rivers with nothing but you and the wildlife.
