design objectives
• To create about fifty percent more interior space than a similar length monohull
• To provide a flexible interior layout with over twenty different cabin
configurations that can be changed on a moments notice
• +20 knots performance, with at least 1/3 less fuel consumption
• About half the cost of a similar volume and quality performance monohull
• Limousine tender storage + launching from the main deck
The quaranta has four decks and a 9m (29ft 6in) beam. This is 2m (6ft 6in) wider and
one more deck than would be found on a comparable monohull. This creates about
50% more space for guests than on a 34,1m (111ft 6in) monohull and is more compa-
rable with guest space on a 40 - 42m (135ft) monohull.
All six guest staterooms are on the main deck level and each stateroom comes with
a headroom of 210cm (83 inches)
Headroom in the main salon and dining areas is 215cm (85 inches)
The flexible layout system in the quaranta means there is a choice of
accommodation. The configuration can be changed in a matter of hours (see our
videos on curvelle.com for illustration) Choose from three spacious suites with his
and hers bathrooms and private sitting rooms; or six doubles or six twins or any of the
20 combinations of these.

Curvelle uses state of the art construction techniques with vacuum bagged carbon and
carbon e-glass hybrid composites bonded with epoxy on Airex PVC. The construction
methods are similar to that used for the construction of offshore windblades which
need to endure for decades in harsh conditions.

The (optional) quaranta tender is a 6m(20ft) solar hard top “limo”style tender that
launches with ease straight from the main deck’s hydraulic platform. It is powered by
silent running electric motors giving that extra luxurious touch to running ashore.
Energy provided by battery packs, charged by mothership power and the sun.

Curvelle quaranta in the printed press Hundreds of editorial pages dedicated to one
single innovative yacht...
It is the most astute and economic form of superyacht
ownership ever with about *85% savings compared to
individual ownership over a five year period...
*Cost savings are at least 85% with Curvelle syndicate ownership compared to regular individual ownership without compromising on worldwide cruising.
Curvelle designs and builds custom superyacht catamarans for both individual and syndicate ownership structures.
The concept
Now you can enjoy all the pleasure of the luxury motoryacht lifestyle with only
a fraction of the commitment. For the first curvelle quaranta, we´re putting
together an owners´scheme that gets rid of cost barriers and hassles, but
retains the great feeling that you own a luxury yacht outright more than any
other method of shared ownership.
At the same time the revolutionary cabin design of curvelle luxury
motoryachts offers you real flexibility and pure comfort.
So things are always just how you and your guests like them.
When it comes to fractional or syndicate ownership you can expect more with Curvelle
The yacht
The Curvelle quaranta has been specifically designed for the use of shared
ownership. It has many innovative design features that fit the purpose. Curvelle
is a dynamic yacht developer in London and Istanbul with a focus on luxury
catamaran motor yachts with high quality engineering and constructed from
carbon epoxy composites.
the principle
The unique private owners syndicate for the quaranta enables you to buy one
or more one-seventh shares in a luxury Curvelle 34,1 m(111ft 6in) super-Yacht. A
separate management company services and crews the yacht on your behalf and
you share in the running costs. The carefully selected highly skilled crew includes a
captain, engineer, two stewardesses, a chef and a deckhand. Each share guarantees
you three weeks summer cruising in the Mediterranean an two weeks in the
Caribbean winter season every year. Plus a part of the proceeds from charters when
the members aren´t using the yacht.
It´s as simple as that.
the freedom
A Curvelle syndicate membership is all about offering you the freedom that comes
with the luxury motoryacht lifestyle, with none of the restrictions. So You can pretty
much decide to cruise at any time in either season.
Personal items are safely stored and put back in their rightful place before
your trip.
And because of the quaranta´s unique design, the yacht´s six double cabins can
be swiftly changed to three suites or a combination of twin cabins depending
on the wishes of you and your guests. So whenever you cruise, you really are in
your own space.
the difference
Private syndicate membership is different to other “ fractional ownership”
schemes. You may well have discovered that these are more geared to
benefiting the sales organisation running them. The biggest difference: in those
schemes the “owner´s relationship” is primarily with the organisation, and it
lays down the rules. In a syndicate, you and your fellow owners make the rules.
Together you have complete control over your yacht, and the company that
owns it. You choose when you want to cruise - not the sales or management
organisation. And, when it comes to value, our use of intelligent design and
smarter construction methods means you get far more yacht for your money.
the choice
More yacht for your money. Far more control than other “fractional ownership”
schemes. Real freedom to customize your yacht to suit you and your guests.
No wonder Curvelle syndicate ownership is leading the way.
Why not go to curvelle.com now and find out just why Curvelle private
syndicate membership is the smarter way to enjoy the luxury motoryacht
lifestyle with a fraction of the commitment?
The Big secretNobody knows if you own 1/7 or 7/7
Thank you for your interest in Curvelle’s
unique syndicate ownership scheme.
We hope to answer all your key
questions here and at curvelle.com but if you’d like to know anything
else, please do not hesitate to talk to
us. Our syndicate ownership manager
Steve Last is highly experienced and
would love to talk to you to explain
all the details.
What is syndicate ownership?
Syndicate ownership is a concept
that has already proven very popular
in the luxury jet and real estate
market. It means buying a part share
of an asset you use at specified times
giving you nearly all the benefits of
full ownership but only a fraction of
the commitment. Curvelle is one of
the pioneers of syndicate ownership
in the world of luxury motoryachts.
Q&A
Why is Curvelle´s scheme different?
Unlike other schemes, we aim to bring
you as close as possible to the flexi-
bility and freedom you’d enjoy if you
were the outright owner of a luxury
motoryacht. We have no rights over
your yacht. You and the other owners
are registered sole shareholders of an
Isle of Man registered company that
exists solely to own and the yacht.
How many shares are there?
Shares are allocated in seven blocks
and the purchase is 1/7th of the cost
of the yacht.
Can I buy more than one share?
Yes, any owner can buy up to seven
shares
Q&A
All the pleasure,a fraction
of the commitment
When does fractional ownership be-come better value for money than chartering?
If you were to use a yacht of equivalent
volume and performance for twelve
days or less every year, chartering is
the best economic option. But if you
want to cruise for twelve days or more,
Curvelles syndicate ownership makes
more financial sense.
How much cruising time am I guaranteed?
There are two cruising seasons-24
weeks in the Mediterranean in sum-
mer and 16 in winter in the Caribbean.
You are guaranteed three weeks in
the Mediterranean and two in the Ca-
ribbean. This takes care of 35 weeks
plus a 5 weeks buffer period the rest of
the for rotation flexibility and charter.
Balance is given over to repositioning
and maintenance
Q&A
If I have more than one share, do I get more cruising time?
Yes, calculated on a pro-rata basis.
Who decides when I can cruise?
You and the other owners. Your yacht
manager arranges this using a rotating
priority sheme to make sure conflicts
don’t arise. It is a good idea to book
your cruise at least three months before
the season starts but you can change
your plans if the yacht is available.
How does the rotating priority she-me work?
The first owner to buy a share gets first
priority for the first cruising season -
whether this is in the Mediterranean
or Caribbean. The second owner gets
second priority and so on. When it
comes to the next season the order is
reversed so the owner who was last
to buy a share gets first priority. Since
there are multiple cruising seasons,
the rotation order changes frequently.
Q&A
Maximum enjoymentminimum hassle
You enjoy ! The management takes care of the rest.
What happens with unused time?
The unused time is put on the charter
market with revenues distributed bet-
ween you and the other owners depen-
ding on the number of shares you hold
and the actual use you have had. Char-
ter income is a bonus - not essential
Where can I board?Your Curvelle motor yacht has a ho-
meport in the Mediterranean and the
Caribbean. Agreed on by you and your
fellow owners
What does Curvelle´s unique capaci-ty for customisation really mean?
The increased deck width and vo-
lume of the catamaran, along with
the interior design details means
the layouts is highly flexible and can
be varied during turnaround. Which
provides a wide choice of over 20
configurations of the cabin spaces
and layouts depending on exactly
what you and yours guest need. The-
re are no monohulls or others that
Q&A
How about personal items?
You can leave the sort of thing you
normally take in your suitcase with us.
We’ll also store store sports equipment
and small items that make you feel at
home, ready for your next trip.
Your Curvelle motoryacht is always set
up ready for you, before you and your
guests come on board.
How long does the program last for?
As long as you and the other owners
want. But we would recommend you
and the other owners agree on an
owners syndicate membership pe-
riod of about seven years.
Q&Awe know of which are able to provi-
de this unique freedom of choice on
moments notice.
Reserve your share nowwith a € 150.000 down payment
What happens if I want to sell?
We are happy to offer advice and help
marketing your share but you are free
to do whatever you want.
How do I sign up?
You put down a €150.000 deposit to
secure a place in an owners syndicate.
Once all the owners sign up, the depo-
sit become non-refundable. When the
yacht is delivered you pay the balance.
After that ,you make the quarterly pay-
ments to cover the management and
running costs.
