Supervision and Reflection in PEALEX LOURA
Collaborative Supervision Model
This model would be ideal in a teacher setting.
TC’s observes CTs (lesson, rules, and routines)
TC and CT work together to plan and teach lessons.
Once TC understands the concept of the CT’s teaching style; TC can teach independently and develop their own “style”.
CT will provide feedback on teaching skills and the ability of the TC to reflect.

University Supervisor
Liaises with student, teacher, and school

Acts as a mentor for the student and, in some cases, the teacher

What is reflection? It is an assessment of looking back at your
teaching and reviewing the pros and cons.
Why is it important? Understanding teaching style
Being able to make changes to things that worked and did not work
Effectiveness
Builds stronger teacher characteristics
