NOTESSunstone has two yarn options and is worked in the round, with 1 strand of Lunar or 1 strand of Tweed Silk Cloud, starting with a Rotated Long Tail Cast-On. A Garter Stitch edging leads to a simple 1×1 Cross stitch pattern on a Stockinette Stitch background.

TECHNIQUESROTATED LONG TAIL CAST-ONSet-up: Begin with a slip knot and hold yarn as for long tail cast-on. Step 1: CO 1 st using the long tail cast-on method.Step 2: Holding the first st in place with your index finger, pivot the needle

STRETCHY BIND-OFFSet-up: K2, insert LH ndl into the front loops of both sts just worked, k2tog through the back loops (tbl).Step 1: K1, insert LH ndl into the front loops of both sts on RH ndl, k2tog-tbl. Rep until all sts are BO.
