The side lights are a great brightness to do some close up reading.

The main light is bright enough to see enough of a distance ahead of you for the purpose of hiking.

The red lights are probably there to help preserve your night vision for a little longer than the standard white light.

The strobes I guess would be helpful in signal/identification purposes.

Experience

I’ve owned numerous ‘made-in-china’ head torches, and this is by far the comfiest to wear. With others I’ve literally had to

wear them over a hat/hood, as they were so uncomfortable on my forehead.

This is smooth, and trouble-free. Very good.

CONCLUSION

Compared to other fairly similar head torches, I would describe this as considerably more comfortable.

Comfortable (more so than other similar head torches I have)

Various light modes including red and strobe

Ability to change brightness

Bright enough for most tasks, and also for walking
