BACK YARD BIBLE CLUBS June 22-26
We have a team of parents coming together to plan Backyard Bible Clubs as an
outreach mission opportunity for our church. We need teams of youth and adults willing to
lead in different areas at each home: crafts, mu-sic, recreation, and sharing a bible lesson. We also need volunteers to serve in preparing the
snacks for each day. You can sign up with Mary in the office.
Towards the end of summer we will look to do a day VBS camp when it is safe for us to come together in larger groups
here at the church.
Please be in prayer for us as we plan the best way for us to minister to our neighbors and church family.
SUMMER ACTIVITIES: Starting May 31, we will begin alternating our groups
and meeting times. All their SS leaders are invited to join us.
May 31—4K/5K 4-5pm June 3—1st/2nd 6-7pm June 7—3rd/4th 4-5pm June 10—5th/6th 6-7pm
We will watch our numbers and if able will combine some groups to just meet on Wednesday nights through-
out the summer. During this time we will fellowship with snacks and
games and study God’s word.

YOUTH NEWS
I was in Ephesians 2 this morning and it is a very familiar passage to all of us. Ephesians 2:8 says, “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.” We know that salvation is a gift and not earned but it is a gift we take for granted? We all know the fresh-ness of a new gift that we have wanted and finally get. This year Ann bought me a riding lawn mower. I no longer mind mowing my yard when it’s hot and humid. But how long before I take that gift for granted. I think, as Brooks said on Sunday, that the stay at home orders have caused me to think about how often I have taken coming to church for granted. But I know it’s not just coming to church, I have taken God’s grace for granted, I have taken God’s Word for granted, I have taken even God’s presence in my life for granted. How about you? Has this time caused you to draw nearer to God or has it taken you further away? Have you taken the extra time you have been given and invested that in time with God and His Word or made other things a great-er priority. I know that we will be coming back to church as a whole body slowly but God please help us to always be in a hurry to spend time with Him. To yearn and long for our moments together with God and His Word. That our time with Him would be more precious than the other gifts in our lives: the gift of family, job, relationships, hobbies, and the many other gifts we enjoy. But let us make sure that God is still reflected in our priorities, hearts and minds as the greatest gift in our lives! See you on Sunday! Randy
All Active Group activities are postponed until further notice. The senior adult community is at a higher risk of contracting Covid-19 from social interactions. We encourage all of our Senior Adults to carefully practice social distancing during this time of pandemic.
