Preschool Two’s -Introduce the Bible story Say – On the day of Pentecost, the disciples were gathered all together in one place. Everyone heard a big sound like the blowing of strong wind. The big sound came from heaven. The Holy Spirit came upon each of Jesus’ friends. Each person was filled with the Holy Spirit and started to speak differently in a language that they did not know before! When other people heard the sound, they went to find out what was going on. Peter stood to speak before the crowd. He reminded the people how Jesus performed miracles when He was alive. Then He was handed over to die on the cross. Three days later, God raised Jesus from the dead. All these things happened according to God’s Plan. Jesus is the Messiah! The people knew in their hearts that Peter told the truth and asked him what they should do. Peter answered, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” A big number of people believed in Peter’s message about Jesus. About three thousand people were baptized that day. -Video of the Bible story: The HOLY SPIRIT came. -Gospel Takeaways → The Father sent the Holy Spirit to Jesus’ disciples. → Peter told the people that God made Jesus alive again. → The Holy Spirit helps us share the Good News about Jesus to others. - Song: JESUS loves me.

Lyrics of ”JESUS loves me.” Cedarmont Kids

Jesus loves me, this I know.

For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong.

They are weak but He is strong.

Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.

The Bible tells me so.

Jesus loves me, He Who died. Heaven’s gate to open wide.

He will wash away my sin.

Page 4: Sunday Home Preschool

Let this little Child come in.

Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.

The Bible tells me so.

Jesus, take this heart of mine. Make it pure and wholly Thine. On the cross Who died for me,

I will try to live for Thee.

Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.

The Bible tells me so. -Coloring pages: Appendix 2: Coloring page on Acts 2:3 (1) Appendix 3: Coloring page on Acts 2:3 (2) Appendix 4: Jesus is preparing heaven for us.
