We are excited about her getting the opportunity to play again this season. This past Fall I was asked to coach a team and after a little consideration I decided to give it a try. I must say it was a lot of fun coaching Grace’s team. Some rather crazy things happened during the season. I was the head coach and pitcher for our team. On one occasion I pitched the ball underhanded and hit our player. It was a laughable event AFTER the game when she said [after I had given the pep talk about not swinging at bad pitches] “Coach, I didn’t swing at the one that hit me.” Pour thing! I apologized to her parents and they were laughing too, so all is good. We had about 5 players on our team that had never played softball. Yes, I was the new coach that got the new kids. But it was great. We had a great team and a great group of girls. Just this week I received an email from another one of our players from the Fall team asking if I Kids4Christ Worship (2nd Kids4Christ Worship (2nd Kids4Christ Worship (2nd Kids4Christ Worship (2nd - 5th grade) 5th grade) 5th grade) 5th grade) Robyn Cohron Robyn Cohron Robyn Cohron Robyn Cohron Volunteers for K5 Volunteers for K5 Volunteers for K5 Volunteers for K5 -1st grade 1st grade 1st grade 1st grade 02 02 02 02-01 01 01 01-15: 15: 15: 15: Laura Little / Natalie Seay 02 02 02 02-08 08 08 08-15: 15: 15: 15: JJ and Jessa Rohm 02 02 02 02-15 15 15 15-15: 15: 15: 15: No K4C Worship School Holiday 02 02 02 02-22 22 22 22-15: 15: 15: 15: Matt and Melanie Conklin 03 03 03 03-01 01 01 01-15: 15: 15: 15: Misty Moye / Natalie Seay 03 03 03 03-08 08 08 08-01: 01: 01: 01: Erika and Skylar / Caitlyn Greeters Greeters Greeters Greeters This Week: This Week: This Week: This Week: Harry and Gene Neese Next Week: Next Week: Next Week: Next Week: Nino and Kim Frego Nursery (Infants to 4 years) Workers Nursery (Infants to 4 years) Workers Nursery (Infants to 4 years) Workers Nursery (Infants to 4 years) Workers This Week: This Week: This Week: This Week: Kim Frego, Misty Seay and Melinda Hoffman Next Week: Next Week: Next Week: Next Week: Alicia McKenzie, Tom Kaurudar, Melanie Conklin, and Anna Maria Johnson was coaching again this season. I know you get paid when your an umpire, but I'll pay you with snicker bars and smiles. Please be a coach again because I will love if you stay.” - Addison My challenge to you, after all this, is for you to step out and do something that may seem difficult or different from what you are used to doing. If you give your opportunity to God it will pay off. At our end of the season party I wrote a personal note to each of the players with a verse of blessing. It was a great way to share Jesus with each of them in a very subtle way. Addison wasn’t the only one that has asked if I am going to coach again this year. I am looking forward to another great season, but more importantly we are looking forward to building relationships with those in our community and help bring them to Christ. Bro. Jason Moye Bro.
