Lot 1 Drawing by Michelle McCullagh as illustrated in catalogue. Renowned Dorset artist Michelle has kindly donated a drawing of Huntsman and hounds.

Lot 2 Morning on gallops and brunch with Alan King. Alan has trained 30 Grade one winners and 15 Cheltenham Festival winners. Spend the morning watching his horses in training at the Barbary Castle gallops. For 4 people. Date to be mutually agreed. Kindly donated by Alan King

Lot 4 Roe Stalking One day's Roe Buck Stalking with Paul Taylor at Piddletrenthide Estate during the 2018 Season. The successful bidder may shoot two bucks and keep the trophies if desired. Kindly donated by James Boughey.

Lot 5 Vet’s Examination: A five Stage pre-purchase examination, within a distance of 30 miles from Kirtlington, Oxfordshire. (Unless by prior arrangement). Not including X-rays, ultrasound or endoscope. Kindly donated by VT Vets.

Lot 8 Croatian Villa - Villa Giardino, Vis. A charming 17th Century house on the island of Vis, Dalmatian Archipelago. 50 m from the crystal clear sea on the edge of the old town of Vis. 3 double beds plus twin bunk room, all ensuite. Beautifully furnished with fabulous views. Vis was chosen for the sequel of the film musical Mamma Mia, using the same cast as before, filming being completed there in October this year. Lot 10 Flight Trip around the New Forest and the Jurassic coast of Hampshire, Dorset or Isle of Wight, duration of one hour for 4 people of reasonable weight. Or an alternative trip to Cherbourg for lunch (Lunch at own expense) To be taken within the next 12 months. Kindly donated by Roger Bell.

Lot 11 A Day at the Races: A VIP day to the South Dorset Point to Point February 4th 2018. The Package includes: £25 car park pass, four race cards, VIP badges, lunch and drinks in the officials’ and sponsors’ marquee. Kindly donated by Katy Davis and Clare Tredrea.

Lot 14 E Early Morning Ride with the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment: Enjoy an early morning ride around Hyde Park on a ‘Cavalry Black’ with a Riding Instructor from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment (HCMR), followed by breakfast at the Cavalry and Guards Club (as a guest of Marcus Browell). The Offer is for two people (min age 18), valid until end June 2018 any day Monday to Saturday 06:30 to ride at 07:00. Lot 18 Royal Opera House tickets – David Bernstein and Sophie Caruth have offered 2 tickets to any opera or ballet at Covent Garden including dinner for 2 with a glass of champagne. Date to be mutually agreed. To be taken in 2018.

Lot 20 Armoured Trials Tank experience at Bovington – Have the chance to see the British Army’s latest Armoured Fighting Vehicles, including Challenger 2, Scimitar 2, Warrior and a Jackal. Climb onto and into the static vehicles to feel for yourself what it is like to operate them. Speak to the experienced crews about how the vehicles are used during training and operations. Lot 21 Wincanton Racing Package: Lunch and racing for four in the racecourse directors’ room to include a tour of the racecourse facilities including the stables, a trip to the start (and possibly following a race – can’t guarantee in advance), viewing a race in the premier panoramic viewing area and the owners and trainers bar and viewing area, tea with winning connections and to round off if desired, a round of golf for four at our golf course. Lot 26 Framed hunting print of the South Dorset Hunt at Navies Shovel above Alton Pancras by Hazel Morgan. Dated 1995 includes Edward Knowles hunting hounds, James Boughey as Field Master, Felicity Green, Roger Prideaux, Mike Dangerfield, David Edelsten, Jane Lovelace, Reg and Gay Hanbury amongst others. Lot 27 Sailing and Fishing along the Jurassic Coast for two adults and two children or four adults: A really interesting afternoon sailing along a beautiful stretch of the Jurassic Coast. Meet at Ringstead Bay where you will board a gaff rigged lugger called Sandpiper. You will then sail down the coast towards Lulworth Cove and Kimmeridge and across the bay towards Portland Bill and Portland Harbour. You will see at close hand the really stunning and varied coast and a wide variety of sea birds including razorbill, guillemot, gannet, and puffin. If lucky you may see a peregrine falcon which nests on the cliffs just east of Ringstead. There were Porpoises in the bay this summer, so keep your fingers crossed. While we sail we shall try and catch some mackerel or a bass for your supper. The best time of day is the afternoon and you will understand the trip is very weather dependent, so you may have to be patient to get the perfect afternoon and evening. You will need warm clothing, sun cream and a hat. Life jackets for medium size children and adults will be provided. Lot 29 Tour of Racing yard –Ralph and Izzi Beckett have offered to show 4 people around their yard at Kympton Down, Near Andover. Ralph has trained winners in three classics with many top horses in training. Kindly donated by Ralph and Izzy Beckett

Lot 30 Fishing on the Test, Longparish. – Have a rod for the day on one of the famous chalk streams in England. To include a picnic lunch. Rod and tackle can be provided. Paddy will be your guide you for the day. kindly donated by Paddy Bond

Lot 33 South Dorset Hunt Memorabilia – The memorabilia dates back to the 52 years when J.J. Farquharson hunted the hounds. The hunt was called ‘The Farquharson Hunt and covered the whole of Dorset and part of Somerset. The lot includes: A copy of Bailey’s monthly magazine of 1866 containing a biography of J.J. Farquharson. A drawing of J.J. Farquharson and a tiny map of the country he hunted including the distance to meets from the kennels at Eastbury and Cattistock. Kindly donated by Mrs. Jo Caistor

Lot 34 Horse Clip – Save the hassle of getting covered in hair and have your horse expertly clipped. Within 15 miles of Blandford (or further for extra charge). Kindly donated by Gail Marsh.

Lot 35 Apartment for 2 weeks in Alicante, Spain. Situated in the beautiful Campoamor region of Spain with stunning scenery and beautiful beaches. Direct flights from Bournemouth to Murcia or Alicante airport. Situated on a private location within 10 minutes walk of beaches. Tennis courts and swimming pool are available at extra cost. Lot 36 Case of Wine. A case (12 bottles) of White Wine (2015) from a private vineyard at Bruton, Somerset. This vineyard has been established for 25 years, has 100 vines and produces approximately 350 bottles per year. The grapes are a mix of Seyval and Phoenix. The winemaker is Steven Brooksbank at Bagborough, Shepton Mallet, and the vineyard is managed by Angeliki Yannaghas. The wine is produced entirely for the owners own consumption and not sold on the open market – very exclusive! Kindly donated by Malcolm Hord.

Lot 37 Tour of vineyard – visit Justin Langham’s vineyard for four people. The visit includes a tour of the vineyard and winery followed by a tutored tasting of their award winning wines. Kindly donated by Justin Langham.

Lot 38 Horse or pet photo shoot - An outdoor 1:1 photo session primarily of horses/dogs but with owners if they so choose. To include one wall mounted print in a style of your choice to a value of £60. All at a date, time and location by mutual agreement. Kindly donated by Nigel Gidney
