Summer Style Manual
Summer Style Manual
Eddie Cochran famously sang “There ain’t no cure for the summertime blues.”
That’s bunk. That’s pure blatherskite. There absolutely is a cure.
It’s called looking good.
Doing a sit-up on occasion. Workin’ on a respectable bronze. And most importantly, dressing well.
Which is why we’re proud to present our inaugural Summer Style Manual — the second in what will be a quarterly series, garment industry willing.
And because no man (or discerning lifestyle guide) is an island, this time we’ve brought in a few like-minded chums.
Style-savvy cats. Natty fellows. Gents you’d enjoy a shandy with, and who’ve kindly provided to us their ideal ensembles for the corner office,
the boundless wilds and beyond.
Enjoy the manual, fellas.
Stay cool – and don’t change,

Grab a lightweight henley in azure, cerulean or sky blue (embrace the feminine adjectives).
Summer scarves aren’t strictly for
the Syrian Free Army or the
Al-Nusra Front.
Wear these anywhere. Other than to an arraignment.
I challenge you to find a pair of Berlutis that’ll
survive 60 seconds in the pool, lake or ocean.
If beach-bound, one can hardly do
better than with a brand whose name is
derived from per il sole: (Italian)
“ for the sun.”
Embroidered base reminiscent of a bead-treatment, but to much more manly effect.
Because birthday suits sometimes require too much pressing (or expensive tailoring), there are
swim trunks. I like these.
