SICSA

• Scotland has: 9% of UK population, 16% of 4* research outputs, 20% of research council grants

• SICSA capitalises on that - http://www.sicsa.ac.uk/

• a collaboration of all 14 schools of computer science and informatics in Scotland, 750 academics and 790 PhD students

• St Andrews is a founding member and one of the 3 SICSA host institutions

• SICSA supported activities:

• education, scholarships, summer schools, research themes, research, interaction with industry, outreach, funding, funding to early stage and early career researchers.
