TRADITIONAL DAY CAMP

AGES: Completed K-5th grades. Campers are grouped into age-appropriate huddles with a 1:15 counselor to camper ratio.DAYS/HOURS: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pmSESSIONS: 1-10REGISTRATION FEE: $40 (one-time, non-refundable)WEEKLY FEE: $130 Members/$165 Potential Members (prorated week is marked with an *, $104 Members/ $132 Potential Members)WEEKLY DEPOSIT: $5 (To ensure your child has a spot, a non-refundable deposit is required for all of the weeks you anticipate your child will attend.)PAYMENTS: Due on the Wednesday before each session. HALF DAY CAMPYou can experience the fun of traditional day camp, meet new friends, and make summer memories - in half the time. We offer great options to meet any schedule. Half day camp provides the flexibility parents need and is available in either morning or afternoon sessions.AGES: Completed K-5th grades. BUILDING CONFIDENCECampers will build confidence and learn to swim in a fun and safe environment while making friends in the water. Swim lessons are available during summer camp from 10:00-10:45am Monday - Thursday. The campers will be taken from their camp huddle to the lifeguard for their swim lesson. Building confidence is only $20 extra per week.SESSIONS: 1-10DAYS/HOURS: Monday-Thursday, 10:00am - 10:45amWEEKLY FEE: $20

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCEThe Y is committed to supporting working families, and to ensure every child has the opportunity to benefit from our camps. Financial Assistance is available for those in need. Please complete the Financial Assistance Application (available at your local branch or online). Return the completed application along with two current paycheck stubs and your most recent federal tax return to your local branch. Please allow two weeks for processing. Funding for Summer Day Camp Financial Assistance is provided by the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina’s Annual Giving Campaign.

TEEN CAMPRemove any possibility of summer boredom with Teen Camp. During each action-packed day you will meet new friends, stay active, and try new things with team-building activities, and much more. Field trips and activities are specifically designed with teens in mind. We call our trained staff “professional role models” who not only provide a safe environment, but ensure campers have a ton of fun. JUNIOR AQUATIC LEADERSHIP ACADEMYParticipants will perfect swim strokes and condition, learn First Aid and YMCA safety, And mirror a YMCA lifeguard or swim instructor during this introduction to Aquatic Leadership. RIPTYDE SWIM TEAM Kernersville RipTYDE is a summer swim team that represents pools across the Kernersville area. The team participates in the Tri-County Swim Association and is part of the nationally recognized TYDE Swim Program. RipTYDE teaches swimmers a life-long love for the sport and how to excel in and out of the water. Swim team is a great way to meet other children at the pool, stay active over the summer and enjoy some friendly competition.FEE (May - July): $151 Members/$209 Potential MembersNOTE: Program fees include the following: Team Cap, Bag ID Tag, Team T-shirt, League Championship Meet Dues, End of Season Party and Awards.
