Summer 2020 Tuesday, May 26 to Saturday, May 30 8.30am to 4.30pm daily Alaska Gateway School District invites you to apply to attend a week long training workshop held in the community of Tok AGSD is a recipient of a Carl D. Perkins professional development grant. This grant allows us to facilitate a training workshop for teachers across the interior of Alaska. Participants will meet in Tok School and access the district's industrial greenhouse, modern hydroponic unit and work with the Charlie Cart, a mobile kitchen offering lessons from the greenhouse- to-table. This opportunity is suitable for; - Career and Technical Education teachers, - Teachers supporting learning within agricultural fields and Arctic Agribusiness. The institute will offer personalized learning for each applicant, assisting individuals to create opportunities in their school environments.
