It is observed for various reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Indian subcontinent. In Gujarat, Navratri is a community event, where people perform Garbas on devotional songs that are popular by the names of 'Dandiya Raas' and 'Garba Raas', and perform Jaagran (waking through the night), to please the Goddess. Gujarat, is a favorite pilgrim for devotees, during Navratri. On this occasion, Veerayatan Institute of Engineering & Veerayatan Polytechnic jointly organized Navratri Celebration on 28 th September’ 2017 between 09.30 am to 01.00 pm which was co- ordinated by cultural coordinators.
