Level of the media coverage in Sudan

• Media made a huge difference in the Darfur conflict, which was covered by Sudanese versus non-Sudanese media.

• There were differences in how the story was portrayed from local media and international media.

Effectiveness of the international response

• There wasn’t a huge response from other countries other than some medical care and money. Compared to Libya, Sudan doesn’t have a huge international response like sending air forces and having large conferences. But lately there was a pretty good support for Sudan and especially that it will get divided and become 2 separated countries

Predictions for future of Darfur People

• The world was supposed to take a step to the plate to defend the rights of human beings everywhere in the world. Darfur is anther example of the world-wide fail. Chances are, that Darfur will be a cataloged with all other situations. Darfur seems will only affect the world as an example of man’s isolating quest suffering of other human beings.
