Frequently asked question:
Question:
Are we allowed to post free CME
offerings on our chapter sites as an
educational resource for our members?
Answer: You can post events with free CEs as long as you clearly state that they are not Chapter Events, that the chapter is not endorsing them, but they are for members’ information only. Otherwise, they can be construed as advertising by the IRS, which isn’t allowed.
