Original Requirements – Staff Augmentation Roles – 2 Resources (US and EMEA)

Main responsibilities:

• Application Support:

• Incident Management (Approvals, Escalations, KPI’s, SLA’s)

• Change Management

• Assign internal resources to projects, major developments/enhancements

• Documentation and Communication of (support model, etc.) to end users

• Webinar/Training for new employees about support portal

• User access management (new users, assign/change roles, close accounts, audits)

• Environment or modules updates/upgrades

• Alignment regarding downtimes of environments between sites/regions

• Manage updates of databases

• Request new/retire environments

• Hardware performance monitoring is on QAD but decisions need to be taken in order

to maintain good QOS

• Regular governance reviews (changes, mediate conflicts between sites/regions)

Global EDI Support Requirements

• Move Yanfeng from QCE and current communication to another EDI provider – Seeburger

The Logan Team was the first contact for both the plants and the suppliers when there was an

EDI issue

Main Activities:

• Support plants for new supplier EDI setups

• Tracking new setups for multiple new programs

• Liaison and Issue Resolution Facilitator between Yanfeng plant users, Yanfeng IT

management and QAD Inc

Phase 1: Migration from Legacy EDI to QAD EE using QCE

• New Supplier Codes, EDI IDs, and VAN or Communication Path

Prioritization and Control

Phase 1 – QAD / QCE Migration

• Plants were requested to prioritize their suppliers

• Migration completed in conjunction with overall QAD ERP implementation

Phase 2 – Migration to New Provider

• Suppliers prioritized based on amount of traffic

Daily Support

• Evaluation of business need, size and timing of programs involved

Yanfeng management was the ultimate director of priorities and consulted when issues required escalation.

Policy of “communicate, communicate, communicate” was pursued

Tracker – Provided status for each transaction that Plant level. Plant users could view and

update as needed
