Rio Perdido Adventure The centerpiece of the 600-acre private reserve is the magnificent Rio Perdido, which means, “lost river”. This 150-foot, thermo-mineral gorge that draws energy from deep magma flows, will cast its spell on anyone that descends to its magical waters for the first time. As a result of the spring water mixing with the river’s flow, we have dozens of soothing pools, of varying temperatures. And, just upstream from the spring’s zone, you can actually swim in cool water. The main facility has hot spring pools, changing rooms, spa, gift shop, a gourmet restaurant and the pool bar. Participants may choose 2 of the activities described below plus the use of the pools, the hot springs and a gorgeous luncheon. The Slot Canyon Adventure Rio Blanco canyon is the main stage for the awesome zip line adventure, which includes: 15 platforms: 6 of them are rock-based, 9 are suspended on the canyon walls, a pendulum cable, a 50ft Tarzan swing, a 90ft challenge bridge, 4 via ferratas with lengths varying from 15 to over 30ft, 5 zip lines with lengths varying from 260 to over 800ft. White Water Tubing Absorb the feel of the canyon from the most relaxing yet adventurous means of river transportation, the inner-tube. Modern equipment and expert guides will safely take you through this magical experience. There are parts of the canyon where the rock walls narrow and daylight is scarce. All kinds of birds and monkeys…and, occasionally, some larger mammals will announce their presence. Look for the hot water spouts along the eastern rock walls. White Water Tubing at Rio Perdido is awesome; there are several intense rapids along the way. There is always a chance of making contact with some of the exposed river rocks The Medicinal Spring Hike The hike is escorted by your naturalist guide for about 1.8M out and back. On the way shorts stops will be made to spot wildlife of interesting natural history facts. A relatively flat trail that takes you beyond the Yurro Waterfall, through the Miravalles dry forest and then to a denser and taller forest where the spring and streams are located. Old-time residents consider this water to have healing properties.

Includes: transportation, 2 adventures, use of the pools and facilities, naturalist guide & lunch. Length of the tour: approximately 9 hours. Departure: 8:30 a.m. Return: 5:30 pm Children Policy: the tubing is not allowed for kids under 14 years, should be accompanied by parents in order to
