“Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal.”

-Earl Nightingale

"Progressive" means that success is a journey, not a destination. We never arrive. After we reach one goal, we go on to the nextand the next and the next.

"Realization" means it is an experience. Outside forces cannotmake me feel successful. I have to feel it within myself. It isinternal not external.

“Worthy” means a goal that fills you with joy

Most of us work because we have to not because we want

to.

When we do work that we love doing: We put in extra efforts

We get more involved

We are more focused

That’s why successful people are successful because theydo what they love doing.

“A person with no goals has no purpose in life and a

person without purpose is as good as dead.”

Thomas Edison: to create inventions that people needed, that people would pay for and that would be profitable

Andrew Carnegie: to spend first half of my life making asmuch money as I can – and the second half giving it away

People are afraid to dream big because they think it’s not

possible to achieve them.

"Aim for the moon, even if you miss it, you'll land amongthe stars."

We should not be afraid to dream big and believe in ourdreams.

"Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, the

mind can achieve.“

What we think is what we attract, what we think is what webecome.

When we think in the right direction:

- Doors begin to open

- Opportunities appear

- Universe guides us

If you think you are beaten, you are.If you think you dare not, you don't!

If you like to win, but think you can't,It's almost certain you won't.you think you'll lose, you're lost; For out in the world we findSuccess begins with a fellow's will; It's all in the state of mind.If you think you are outclassed, you are,

You've got to think high to rise,

You've got to be sure of yourself before You can ever win a prize.Life's battles don't always go

To the stronger and faster man,But sooner or later the man who winsIs the man who thinks he can.

is decided by how you react.

Story of the two frogs.

People might discourage you, criticize you or even laugh at you!

Thomas Edison: “You are too stupid to learn”

Wright Brothers: who were trying to invent a machine, heavier

than air, that would fly.

You should not be demotivated but you should believe inyourself.

Take risks but don't gamble.

It means to continue firmly course of action in spite of difficulty or

opposition

Don’t quit - Most people fail not because they lack knowledge ortalent but because they quit

Success is failure turned inside out

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are,

It may be near when it seems so far ;

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit

It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit

represents pleasure with humility

There is no substitute for hardwork.

An average person puts only 25% of his energy on his work.

A mentor or a teacher is a person whose hindsight can

become your foresight.

Choose your mentor carefully.

A good one will guide and give direction; a bad one willmisguide.
