The study abroad program that we attended was specifically for our majors. Krista and I took Liberal Studies 300 as our class which gave us the opportunity to visit different schools in the city of Staffordshire.

CULTURE SHOCK:

Although England may seem very similar to the United States, it is very different.

The accents there are very proper and differ depending on the part of England that you live in.

However, they are very difficult to understand. Especially if you’re an English language learner.

Compared to a very flavorful palate that San Diegans are used to, England’s food is very bland and hard to get used to.
