TRADINGMount Jerai attracts traders from Far East to Lembah Bujang due to its strategic location.

Traders bring in their religion and culture which causes the adoption of Hindu-Buddhism.

Evolved into the first entrepot in Southeast Asia.

IRON SMELTINGIron smelting is the main economic activity in Lembah Bujang during the 3rd to 5th century A.D.

Lembah Bujang was also known as “Kadaram” which means “iron” in Sanskrit.

Monument was built to worship Mount Jerai, residing at the north of Lembah Bujang.

Buddhist candis or stupas contain Buddhist relics, typically ashes of Buddhist monk.

HINDUISMLembah Bujang is one of the important ancient Hindu Kingdoms of Southeast Asia

The Old Kedah’s status as an entrepot helps spread Hinduism.

Cyrtostachys Renda(Lipstick Palm Tree)Height : Unknown Characteristics : • Rare & Exotic.• Native to Malaysia & Sumatra.• Needs High humidity & Water.• Slender, Smooth & slightly swollen at

the base.

Bonsai Tree

pruning, root reduction & potting.• Can be created from nearly any

perennial woody-stemmed tree that produces true branches.

• Have a picnic around the green areas

• Just a walking distance towards anyway

• Historical Candi’s ready for pictures

• Gunung Jerai with beautiful sceneries of the greens from its view
