FMS Blues Dance FMS will be hosting a Blues Day Dance on February 16th from 6-8 PM. The administration will be creating a “No Dance List” starting on Monday (1/22) as the Blues Dance is fast approaching. Anyone with a movement or referral will be added to the list so be on your best behavior!

The 7th grade Falcons battled WMS yesterday as Joey Seelbach kicked off the scoring with a corner three. After falling behind in the first quarter, FMS outscored the Warriors in the 2nd quarter, but were down 20-13 at the half. DJ Mehundrew attempted to

bring the team back by hitting threes in both the 3rd & 4th quarters, but WMS was able to hold off the Falcon attack, 50-29. Seelbach, Mehundrew, EJ Pruitt, and Jalen Brown all finished

with 5 or more points. 7th grade Regionals begin this weekend! Good luck Falcons!

It was 8th grade night & the team was ready to showcase their skills. They jumped to a 15-7 lead in the 1st, but could

not hold on for the win. The Falcons lost to WMS 59-39. Leading the way were Jordan Stewart with 8 points,

J’Corrion Kittrell with 7 points, and Jason Johnson with 6 points. Thank you to all for the support this regular

season. Regionals begin in about a week!

Mark your calendars for the 2018-2019 SSHS Cheerleading Tryouts. Workshops will be held on March 21st, 22nd, and 23rd from 5:30p.m. - 8:30p.m. Tryouts will be March 24th. Informational packets, including application, monetary obligations, and a list of qualifications, are available in the main office. Please complete and review the informational packet PRIOR to tryouts.

Show Choir FundraiserThe FMS Show Choir is asking everyone to come and eat at Chick-fil-A on Monday, January 29th from 4-7 P.M.

20% of the sales from the flyers received will be donated back to Show Choir.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in grades 7–12.
