5. Details of achievements:

Students of our college have been actively participated in various events conducted by

College, University, State inter-universities and all India inter-university level during the year

2017-2018.

5.1 A. Event Organized: “LEADERSHIP AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP” training programme jointly organized by

Anand Agricultural University , Anand and NCCSD, Ahmedabad during the 15-16 Feb. 2018 at

College of Horticulture, AAU, Anand. Total 77 students of College of Horticulture were

participated. (Students category wise listed in table 1).

5.8 Participated in other activities: 1. Celebration of Agriculture Education Day: On this occasions Elocution Competition was

organized during the date 03/12/2017 and our two students were participated.

2. Farmers First for Conserving Soil and Water Resources in Western Region (FFSCWR-

2018): On this occasion cultural program was organized on dated 01/02/2018. Ten students of

our college performed the Gujarati Garba.

3. 52nd

Annual Convention of ISEA: On this occasion cultural program was organized on

dated 08/01/2018. Ten students of our college performed the Gujarati Garba.

4. Celebration of World Soil Day: On this occasion poster presentation and present

competition was organized on dated 02/12/2017. Thirty students of our college were participated

at UG level competition on “No Soil, No Life” among them two students got second and third

position.
