MATHSTART Free ten-week course that targets students

who are below placement only in developmental math.

Conditional start status permits enrollment

in 10 credit hours.

Subsequent enrollment contingent on passing the course, retaking the arithmetic subtest, and placing into a math course.

MATHSTART 72 (74%) were successful completers in 2010-2011

Students average gain on retake of Accuplacer arithmetic subtest = 26 points
