Look at a world map together with your child. Identify different countries and talk about the language spoken in each country. Say People in (Mexico) speak (Spanish). Have your child rephrase your sentence, saying (Spanish) is spoken in (Mexico). Then have your child point to another country and ask What language is spoken in (Vietnam)? You answer (Vietnamese) is spoken in (Vietnam). Continue with other countries and languages, taking turns asking and answering the questions. For fun, point to and talk about all the countries where your native language is spoken.
