PLANNED ACTIVITIES FOR FUTURE
We wish to conduct telescope making workshop in future on a much larger scale and having more participants.
We will collaborate with the INQUIVESTA (Annual science fest of IISER-KOLKATA) in next year and try to organise some competitionsto increase awareness about optics and photonics in daily life.
We will do outreach activities for nearby school children. We want to organise a one day symposium on current researches in
optics and photonics. We are planning to organise regular outreach programme called “A
LIGHT EVENING” which will include popular talks by SPIE student members and visits to optics labs. This programme will mainly be focused on under graduate students.
