Those that cause distress, which occurs when people experience unpleasant stressors

Those that cause eutress which result from positive events, such as: getting a new job, buying a house or having a baby
High levels of stress can inflict seriously damaging the health of mind. As consequence, many people suffer from insomnia, poor concentration and depression.

glands release vitamin C,
together with hormones
into the blood. When a
person experience stress,
epinephrine (hormone that
signals the liver cells to
release glucose) acts
quickly to ensure that all
the body cells have energy
fuel in emergencies

Immune SystemWhen the immune
system becomes ineffective are the cancer cells able to multiply. Chronic stress can hamper the immune system, and this might affect the body’s ability to head off the uncontrolled proliferation of cancerous cells (Stress Control)
