For ‘Let Me Go’ By Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger.

Page 2: Storyboard for music video

There is some sound effects added to the beginning of this song that is included in its official video, if I use the track from the official video the following screen shots shown are the video clips I will use.

Few shots before the piano playing as the intro

The Intro of piano playing

Piano playing before singing starts

The reason for using the instrument is because a convention of rock videos is to contain a prop, most likely a musical instrument. Therefore I decided to use the piano for the into.

LyricsLove that once hung on the wallUsed to mean something, but now it means nothing

The echoes are gone in the hallBut I still remember, the pain of December

Oh, there isn't one thing left you could sayI'm sorry it's too late

First Verse (Page one) At the very beginning there are vocals by the female singer, this would be the reason for me wanting to

use my female actress. I also want to use different shots

to make it more interesting I will hopefully use an appealing transition

between the two.

The reason for me wanting to add the shot of the male

actor, is just to introduce him. This will hopefully

create ideas for the audience for what is to come in the rest of the

music video,

ChorusI'm breaking free from these memories

Gotta let it go, just let it goI've said goodbye

Set it all on fireGotta let it go, just let it go

First Chorus (Page One)

I would like to use these shots as they show location, and

also the image below also has good

lighting. This will hopefully come in

handy when adding different effects.

LyricsYou came back to find I was gone And that place is empty,Like the hole that was left in me

Like we were nothing at all

It's not what you meant to meThought we were meant to beOh, there isn't one thing left you could say

I'm sorry it's too late (Both Sing)

Page Two for Second Verse

At this point in the song I wanted a

change of location to show that the two

people are in different places.

Also I wanted to use the same idea with

showing a clip of the female actress when the male is singing.

This will then hopefully create a

pattern.

ChorusI'm breaking free from these memories

Gotta let it go, just let it go

I've said goodbyeSet it all on fireGotta let it go, just let it go

Second Chorus

In this chorus, this is where the relationship is all ‘up in the air’ and not going well. This is a clip of

the female ripping up to represent this. Later on in the music video this clip will be shown again, just

differently.

The BridgeI let it go

and now I know

A brand new life

is down this road

And when it's right,

you always know

So this time

There's only one thing left here to say

Love's never too late- Both

The Bridge (Page One Ailis part)

So far there are no shots of the two actors together and therefore, for the bridge as each line in the song is alternated between. I thought it was only sensible

and necessary to have this shot where they both sing together.

This also is a good thing as in this point of the song the relationship is coming together.

Last Chorus

I've broken free from those memories

I've let it go, I've let it goAnd two goodbyes led to this new life

Don't let me go, don't let me go

Third Chorus (First part)

In the last chorus, the idea is that the relationship is coming together, so I will

take this original shot and reverse the action. This will hopefully connote to the

relationship.

Don't let me go, don't let me go,don't let me go

Don’t let me go

Last Part of Chorus

With this clip I will edit the speed so it will create more of an effect and linking to the lyrics at this point.

I will also use this clip towards the end as the female has her hand on his shoulder to represent that she let him go.

Last Piano part At this point in the song there are no vocals, so I decided to show the location as I will hopefully

do at the beginning. As there is another piano part I will a different shot of the piano,

therefore there is still a prop involved, however the shot differs the one from the beginning.

Ending of the Song

Last lyrics

Won't let you go,

don't let me go

Won't let you go, don't let me go

As part of the editing there will be a zoom added as the swans come together.
