My Grandpa

In my memory, Grandpa always wore a smile on his face and bought lots of ice cream for me while I was little.

He was a peasant when young. He got up early every morning and worked on the farm until the weather became dark.

Not long after, he found a new job

as a worker in a factory. He worked

so hard that he hardly had time to

date with Granny.

According to Granny, the most

romantic thing Grandpa ever did was

to bring her to the farm and listened to

his old stories.

Although it might bore you, but it

sounded really touching to Granny.

Time flies, I am now a teacher in

junior high school; however, Grandpa

grew older and finally passed away at

the age of 82. Though he is dead, his

words and behavior still affect me till

now.

It just feels like he passed his spirit

and life attitude on to me. And I, of

course, will follow what he has told me.
