Eventually the safety professional integrated our safety icon into every part of the company’s safety promotion campaign and it is still in use today. When this safety professional left the company he took stop think act safely ™ with him. When asked why, he said “Because it is simple and to the point and describes exactly what the employees need to do while at work and at home. And experience tells me that once we successfully establish a stop think act safely™ mindset, we will reduce accidents and lost time in all our facilities. So why reinvent when something already works?” Many safety professionals who came in contact with these programs began to integrate stop think act safely ™ in their culture. It became obvious that stop think act safely ™ was resonating with the safety community.
