He is also an ad-junct professor in the Department of Religion at University of Mount Olive where he has been teaching online and evening classes since 2012. Dr. Whitfield has met with the Pastor Search Committee sever-al times, has had an initial meeting with the Board of Deacons and has met with the Pastoral Staff. Please be much in prayer for Dr. Whitfield, his family and our church as we continue through this search process.

SENIOR ADULT MINISTRIES—PRIMETIMERS
Senior Adult Bible Study
We hope you will join us this Tuesday (3/13) at 10 a.m. for fellowship, prayer and the study
of God’s Word with Pastor Barry.
It won’t be the same without you and your friends!
Note the CHANGE to our March 29th Day Trip Thursday, March 29th — 4:30 p.m.
We are going to Wilson—instead of Spice Bouquet!
We will leave at 4:30 p.m. and eat dinner at Parker’s BBQ. We will divide into two groups at Parkers according to your appetite. Those who want to order “family style” can sit at one group of tables and those who want to order a meal off the menu can sit at the other set of tables. We should arrive at Parkers around 5pm and be ready to leave around 6 or 6:15pm. After our meal, we will travel to downtown Wilson to the site of the new one-of-a-kind Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park for a brief visit. We will give you time to catch a glimpse of these fascinating, whimsical, rotating wind-powered sculptures before sunset. People say it’s a unique experience to see the whirligigs spinning and reflecting the lights before sunset. If it’s a warm day, you may want to get off the bus and walk around the whirligigs. If its cool, you may want to stay on the bus and look through the windows.
Please sign up at the Senior Info Table in the Connector.
Primetimer’s 2018 Ministry Calendar
