Travertine and limestone are formed from calcium carbonate deposits and lack naturally occur-ring metals unlike other natural stones, such as slate and granite, which are thermally conductive.

Compatible in ALL climates *

Travertine’s unique vertical capillary action allows moisture to escape, even in the most extreme freeze-thaw cycling, without stressing the material.

Twice the strength of concrete *

Because Travertine, limestone and marble have been compressed in their natural state for millions of years, they are extra durable and have compressive strengths of 2 to 3 times the strength of concrete and will not degrade for many generations to come.

Non-slip in both wet and dry conditions *

The co-efficient of friction ASTM testing in both wet and dry conditions make travertine, marble and limestone the perfect solution for your pool decks, patios, walkways, bathrooms, showers and kitchens.

No maintenance

When travertine pavers are dry-set, there is NO NEED TO SEAL the pavers because of the capillary action mentioned above. Also, the pavers are cut on tile lines at the quarry/factory which allows the pavers to be installed with little or no sand. Regarding tile installation, the same applies, the tiles can be “butt” installed (1/16” grout line) for an eloquent look which requires very littlemaintenance.

Non-Reactive to salt and chlorine

The perfect material for the most abusive residential and commercial exterior or interior applica-tions including driveways, sidewalks, pool decks (for salt water pools, too!) coping, treads, patios, walkways, kitchens, bathrooms, and countertops.

Stoneworks fabricates in-house custom treads, wall caps, radius copings, and countertops

for your projects! We stock large and wide format slabs, with and without bull nose finished

edges, to accommodate any radius or custom project requirements. All slabs are 2” thick.
