DeliveryAt the buyer’s option and risk, the Stockman Select Sale Group will take purchaser’s bulls home, feed them under their managment and deliver them FREE anywhere in the prairie provinces to your nearest central location. Bulls returning home must be insured by the purchaser.

For bulls purchsed outside the prairie provinces bulls will be delivered at a reasonable charge. The bulls are the property of the buyer as soon as they are sold.

If you take your bull home sale day we will deduct $50 per bull off the purchase price.

Careful consideration and many miles were logged before we decided on Motive, Reflection, Eastwood, and Chisum. Motive, Reflection, and Eastwood will be at Johnstones sale day for your inspection. Each of these sires is backed by breed leading females. Each sire brings their own unique characteristics with calving ease bulls, power bulls, maternal bulls, a bulls that are a nice blend of each. We feel the bulls are a very consistent group that have a lot to offer the beef industry. Reflection has been a great addition to the bull battery. He was purchased from the Musgrave program in IL. The MCATL prefix has produced some of the most ex-citing young sires in the breed, and they have had some of the most successful bulls sales in North America.

Reflection breeds tremendous length of body, puts power into his calves without sacrificing any calving ease. He has an awesome foot underneath and is backed by a great cow family.

Very excited to offer seven sons of our home raised 4W bull this year. We have been very impressed with his set of calves so we put a lot more cows with him in 2012.

Many that have toured the ranch have just fallen in love this herd bull and for good reason. He’s stout, thick and has that great herd bull look to him. 4W’s calves have lots of vigor, nice birth weights and good performance. I can’t wait for this year’s calves to come.

Sire by Triple A Max’s Tobassco 22T that sold as a calf to Gustafson Herefords, Kansas. We saw the old boy this summer at Gus’s and he still is as impressive as the day we sold him. The Tobassco’s have been top notch with lots of hair and performance. We continue to use him through AI.

Our cow herd is an important asset to us as we make our living from them. We look after them and they look after us. This is the main source of our income. The females here are some of the best you will find in the breed. We take great pride in them as they are moderate framed, sound and big bodied. The kind you would want your next herd sire to come from.

The sale bulls as you will see are a real uniform group. Possibly the best yet. Visitors that have seen these bulls to date say “they sure are an impressive group.” They are not over fed fat bulls. Last year, we had more compliments on how the bulls were fit for the sale. This is an important thing, not only to us, but to our customers. These boys will stand up and last. NO FEET have been trimmed.

Our herd bulls are building the future here at Triple A. Our main stays of Turbo, 9121, and our home raised 4W, a Tobassco son are more than meeting our needs. The Turbo’s are awesome females that will last for years to come. 9121 has exceeded our long anticipation of his daughters. They are everything we hoped for “unbelievable”. 4W has produced cattle with more substance, shape and hair than one might believe - following in his sire’s footsteps.

Terms and Conditions

Terms: The terms of the sale are cash, cheque or credit card, payable at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sell to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auc-tioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian Funds.

Bidding: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder-no buy-bidding will be permitted. Disputes-bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in a dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision is final

Announcements: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures.

Breeders Guarantee: All guarantees fall under the provisions outlined by the Canadian Angus and Hereford Associations.

Exception Guarantee: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction technique after the sale, the guarantee is null and void

Health: All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements

Liabilities: All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller or facility owners assume no liability or otherwise for any accidents that occur. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made here under.

Rights and Obligations: The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute as a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the right and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of the sale.

Phone, Mail Wire Bids: Bidders unable to attend the sale, may phone, wire or mail their bids and instructions to the sellers, auctioneer or special reps. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale

Delivery: We will assist you in arranging transportation where possible. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.

Errors: All announcements at sale time, written or oral, super cede any written material in the catalogue.
