are proud to announce the 7th Stockholm Chamber Brass Academy for Chamber Music 30. July - 7. August 2022 - Leksand, Sweden Stockholm Chamber Brass, one of the world’s leading brass quintets, offer a week of workshops and concerts in a unique and inspiring environment in the heart of Sweden. The course will include chamber music coaching, concerts for each participating group, individual lessons and the opportunity to attend various workshops on developing your ensemble from the members of the SCB. In partnership with the course’s Composition Academy each ensemble will get the chance to premiere a brand new work for their group. The course is open to all brass chamber music groups as well as individual participants who have a particular interest in chamber playing. After initial applications a maximum of five groups will be invited to attend the academy. Each student will receive: • 10 hours of chamber music coaching • A public lunchtime concert with their chamber music group • A minimum of 90 minutes of individual lessons • Daily sessions with a composer to create a brand new piece for your ensemble • Workshop sessions discussing various aspects of chamber music and running a brass ensemble with members of SCB Prices per student: Course fee 3500 SEK Accommodation and breakfast from around 3900 SEK For further information and to apply for the Academy please visit www.scbrassacademy.com or email [email protected] PLEASE NOTE THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS 1st March 2022
