DOUBLE BIN KANBAN

Double bin KANBAN system

divides the stock for each

item in two bins:

Primary bin

Secondary bin (backup)

Each bin is identified by a

RFID tag, which needs to be

placed in the panel whenever

the items at any bin are

finished

KANBAN PROCESS

1. The process starts with the

consuption of the items at the

Primary bin

2. When the items at the Primary bin

are finished an alert is triggered

3. The consuption continues with the

Secondary bin (back-up)

4. Finally, replenishment happens.

Secondary to the Primary bin and

replenishment the Secondary bin

KANBAN PROCESS

1. When the Primary bin isexhausted, a replenishmentalert is triggered, placing thegreen RFID tag in the panel.

2. It may happen that the Secondarybin is also exhausted, beforereplenishment happens, so anurgent alert is triggered, placingthe red RFID tag in the panel.

Green RFID tag means, 50% has been consumed

Red RFID tag means, there willbe no items soon.

RFID Tags

Each tag refers to an item. The tags

have an RFID chip embedded,

which allows to send alerts when

they are placed in the reader panel.

There are two kind of tag:

Green tag: placed in the Primary bin

Red tag: placed in the Secondary bin

KanbaNet KN60

KanbaNet KN60 panel is a cardholder where the RFID tags are placed. It has a buil-in RFID antenna to read the taginformation. The panel reads all thetags and sends the data to thewebapp

Panel dimensions:

660 high x 380 wide x 125 depth mm

Reading capacity:

60 tags

Webapp

The webapp is a web basedapplication to manage the stock:

http://app.stockare.com

It is accesible from any device: PC, tablet or smartphone. It allows to view and manage information of the RFID tags and facilitates the creation of records statistics and configuration

Data can be downloaded in these file formats: Excel, PDF or CVS.
