Communion to the Sick Those parishioners who are confined to their home may

request the Sacrament of Holy Communion by calling the

Parish Office.

SECOND COLLECTION Today's Second Collection is for the ongoing "Repair

and Renovation" of our Church Buildings. The "R & R"

Collections will be helping us to pay for the Renovation

of the Pope Francis Center. We ask all parishioners to

be as generous as possible and thank everyone for their

sacrifices and generous support!

CHRISTMAS SECOND COLLECTION The second Collection for Wednesday, December 25th

will be a special Christmas offering to help Catholic

Charities of Brooklyn & Queens. So many of our

neighbors rely on Catholic Charities for support with

basic needs and the tools to achieve self-sufficiency to

care for our children and families. Thank you for your

generosity!

Census is hiring people in Sunset park to work in Sunset

THANK YOU FOR A BEAUTIFUL

CHRISTMAS SHOW AND CONCERT !! Once again our parish was blessed with a very beautiful

and prayerful Christmas Show and Concert and a truly

“standing room only” crowd that filled the auditorium

(and balcony). We sincerely thank all those who worked

so hard and shared so much of their time and talent to

prepare for this concert and show that so wonderfully

presented the Christmas story and spirit!! We especially

thank Mrs. Ines Cordero, our Director of Faith

Formation (Catechism), who worked so hard to make

the Show come together. This year, especially, we really

could not have done it without Mrs. Ines. Also, as usual,

we had a GREAT TEAM - our catechists, youth

volunteers and leaders, Stage crew, groups like the

Fraternidad, parents, and volunteers to direct and

produce the show and concert, as well as sell tickets, set

-up and clean-up (and carry chairs to the balcony).

THANK YOU to all!!! I am sure that everyone

who attended was grateful for the inspiring performanc-

es and wonderful spirit, which helped us all to better

prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas.

CHRISTMAS OFFICE HOURS The Rectory will be open on Tuesday, December

24th from 9 AM - 4 PM. The Rectory will be closed on

Wednesday, December 25th and Thursday, December

26th, in observance of Christmas and will re-open on

Friday, December 27th with regular office hours.

ADULT SACRAMENTS Any adult who has received Baptism and Holy Communion but has not received Confirmation or Communion may register at the Rectory for preparation classes to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this Spring. You will need to bring your Birth and Baptism Certificates. Classes will begin in February.

SHOW DE NAVIDAD!

Una vez más, nuestra parroquia fue bendecida con un

Show y Concierto de Navidad muy hermoso y lleno de

oración y una multitud verdaderamente "de pie" que

llenó el auditorio (y el balcón). ¡Agradecemos

sinceramente a todos los que trabajaron tanto y

compartieron gran parte de su tiempo y talento para

prepararse para este concierto y espectáculo que tan

maravillosamente presentaron la historia y el espíritu

de Navidad! Agradecemos especialmente a la Sra. Inés

Cordero, nuestra Directora de Formación de Fe

(Catecismo), que trabajó tanto para que el espectáculo

fuera un éxito. Este año, especialmente, realmente no

podríamos haberlo hecho sin la Sra. Inés. Además,

como de costumbre, teníamos un GRAN EQUIPO:

nuestros catequistas, jóvenes voluntarios y líderes,

equipo de escena, grupos de la Fraternidad, padres y

voluntarios para dirigir y producir el espectáculo, así

como vender entradas, organizar y limpiar (y llevar

sillas al balcón). ¡¡¡Gracias a todos!!! Estoy seguro de

que todos los que asistieron están agradecidos por las

actuaciones inspiradoras y el espíritu maravilloso, que

nos ayudaron a todos a prepararnos mejor para

celebrar el nacimiento de Jesús en Navidad.
