On 06.09.2016 Principal attended Collector’s meeting at Shree Niketan Mat. Hr. Sec. School, Thiruvallur regarding Dengu Fever. On 08.09.2016 Principal went to CEO office regarding admission for one Std XI student. On 08.09.2016 Sr. Administrator went to DFT to get ready all the original documents of Minority verification. On 12.09.2016 Principal went to DPI for the verification recognition of renewal. Mr. Kanikkai Lazer Scouts in-charge went to Bharat Scouts & Guides head office at Triplicane to submit the permission letter for the state level training camp on 23.09.2016. 8 of our KG teachers along with H.M & A.H.M. attended Montessori seminar on 26.09.2016 & 27.09.2016 at DFT. Mrs. P.T. Uma Maheswari & Mr. R. Babu Shankar, Maths Teachers attended Workshop on "Enriching Mathematics Education" at Institute of Mathematical Science, Taramani on 26.09.2016 & 27.09.2016. ACADEMIC As per the timetable, First terminal examination was conducted from 07.09.2016 to 23.09.2016. On 15.09.2016 Academic report for the First term was submitted to the Principal by the Academic council Head of Primary Dept. It was well appreciated the output of the report. On 21.09.2016 Spell Bee booklet was issued for the registered students of Std. I – VIII On 09.09.2016, 98 students of Std X have applied for State level National talent search Examination which is to be held on 05.11.2016.

CELEBRATION
English Literary Fest 2016 was celebrated on 06.09.2016. Mr. C. Balthasar
Sathish, HR of FSS was the chief guest for the day.
STATE LEVEL TRAINING CAMP
115 students attended State level training camp at Coonoor, Stanley Park
from 26.09.2016 to 29.09.2016. 6 teachers have accompanied the students.
AWARDS/ACHEIVEMENT
We received Shield & Medals for the winners of International level Spell
Bee competition. Winners Name as follows: (Std V) Swetha.J (Medal),
Janani Ramu (Competency), Yashawini Murali (Merit), Philomena Triny
(Merit).
TEACHERS DAY OUT 2016
Teachers were taken for day out on 24.09.2016. We went to Joe Beach
resort, Mahabalipuram & Kovalam Beach. They enjoyed well.
ZONAL TOURNAMENTS
15 students participated in Athlete District level tournament today at
Thiruvallur SDAT stadium. Winners list as follows:

School, Poonamallee. Our staff participated in Volley Ball, they were the
winners & in Tennikoit they were the runner up.
HEALTH BENEFITS
Mrs. C. Shanthi from Vasantha Memorial Cancer Centre conducted
Awareness programme on Breast Cancer on 20.09.2016 & 21.09.2016.
Totally 177 teachers benefited by the same.
GENERAL
From Health department people gave half an hour speech about the dengue
awareness on 08.09.2016.
On 06.09.2016 Staff from Municipality visited and inspected our school
surroundings. Due to the disease of Dengu fever.
On 20.09.2016 Revenue Officer from Poonamallee Municipality asked the
permission in written to conduct the Panchayat election class for 300 people
on 24.09.2016.
On 21.09.2016 Staff from Municipality received the datas of the teachers
those who are going to participate in Local body Election duty.
On 22.06.2016 Staff from Municipality visited and made room arrangements
for the Election class on 24.09.2016(Sat).
