Darwin Principles

• Each half term we focus on one of the Darwin Principles.

• The principle is introduced during assembly and the children complete more work during

‘Darwin Day.’• However, we like the children to remember

that principle and apply it throughout their time at school.

How many hours does it take to become an expert at something?? (Talk partners).

10,000 hours! How many days is this?

417 days! How many minutes? Imagine you played the guitar once for 417 days without stopping.

600,000 minutes.
