Class: Primary 2 Teacher: Mrs Erika Cassar Check-in Message: Monday 11 th January 2021 Good morning Primary 2 and welcome to your first day of home learning for 2021! First of all I would like to wish you all a happy new year and I hope you all had a great start to the year! I also hope you had a lovely and relaxing Christmas holiday and that you are now all geared up and ready for some learning Although we all thought we will be back in our jungle-themed classroom in January, we need to make sure that we put our safety first and we will have to wait a little bit longer for us to return. I know that learning from home is sometimes tricky but I know for sure that you will all manage! So let’s think about how we spend our mornings in class. We start off by listening to the hello song so make sure you have said good morning to your family. Then, look outside your window to check the weather. Once you do, it is important to close your eyes and think about how you are feeling. What zone are you in? If you’d like, you can write your name and why you’re feeling this way on https://padlet.com/erikacassar06/tq91a2gpxta3698s . I will be doing the same Now that’s we’ve got those sorted, we can start off with our Literacy and warm up our writing hands. We will follow with some Numeracy to practise making numbers and then move on to some health and well being. Wishing you all a lovely day! - What kind of celebration would call for fireworks?
2. You’re right, there are quite a few. However, very recently we celebrated the start of a new year and usually, there are firework displays in the sky.
3. Think about the new year. - What did you do?- How did you feel?
